Wing Wah’s and Chaos Coffee: A piece of Downtown Bakersfield History

I am greatly saddened by the fire at Wing Wah’s. God knows how many meals I have had there (especially when I lived in the Teglar) let alone after a night of drinking treat. I ordered countless lunches from them during the time I worked as a D.J./Bartender at Deja Vue. Wing Wah’s was an integral part of the downtown Bakersfield scene. Interestingly enough as I was looking through our huge archive of pictures I found a picture of Wing Wah’s back when Chaos Coffee was next store.
