Vermont Warehouse
During the mid 80's the Miehi's moved into a large 50ft by 100ft warehouse with 15ft ceilings in South Central Los Angeles on Vermont Avenue. The warehouse was once the "Aster" movie theater (1921?) , but now housed "American Stove Works" which was a used appliance store. They were still moving the old stoves and refrigerators out as the Miehi's were moving in. Over a 3 year period the Miehi's built two large mezzanines with several bedroom underneath.
The first mezzanine became the kitchen, dinning room, library/TV room as well as the control and vocal booth.
The second mezzanine was Georgia's room, office and artist studio.
In the center of the house the Miehi's constructed a stage as well as a 2 story playhouse referred to as "the Pink Condo"
The women's powder room was converted in the bathroom
